Feature Supply Shop - buttonalia

The owner of the supply shop featured today has a real talent when it comes to making ceramic buttons. If you are searching for a special finishing touch to your sewing projects, please take a peek at some of her work.

Any one of her buttons would look fantastic on clothing, but the possibilities are endless.   How about on a handbag or maybe a diaper bag you might be making for your special friend. You could even buy the bags and attach these lovely buttons to give it that homemade touch.

Here is the opening to buttonalia's shop.  I couldn't have said it any better.

"I'm a New Zealand trained ceramicist with my specialty being sculpture, glazes and glaze techniques. I am now working from my small studio in Kent, England. Each button is hand crafted by me and many of the glazes are my own. Because these buttons have been glazed front and back and fired to a high temperature, they are non porous, durable and will never lose the brilliance of the colours. Do enjoy them, as I have in making them. I welcome questions or bespoke orders, so convo me."

Trudette is the owner of Trudette4crochet, a place where you will find the most adorable crocheted items.  She is also a full time artist and like many of us has more than one shop on Etsy.

Her supply shop is full of darling little crocheted flowers that would be the perfect finishing touch to one of your projects.  She also crochets lacy lids that would make something very special such as a jar of homemade preserves or maybe a quart of your grandmother's soup the perfect gift.  The ideas are endless.

Featured Supply Shop-NAKPUNAR

As promised, I am continuing my features of any followers of my blog.  I so appreciate all of you.

Nilufer is the owner of NAKPUNAR, a place where you can buy lovely Emery pincushions, Emery filling for pincushions and various colors of DMC Perle Cotton threads as well as some other fine supplies.

It's always nice to learn something new and that's exactly what happened when I was reading Nilufer's profile.  Did you know that the filling in an Emery pincushion is actually a hard rock mixed with other minerals that actually cleans your skin oils from the pins and needles when you insert them in the cushion? Not only that but it sharpens them as well.  All those years I was sewing and I never knew that.

Nilufer resides in Brooklyn and has been selling on Etsy as a supplier since February 2008.  She has a great inventory so be sure to stop by.

BP Yarns

Cathy Costa is the owner of BP yarns, a virtual  yarn shop for Plymouth yarns.  BP  is an abbreviated version taken from her other shop on Etsy called  Babbidge Patch, a place where you can buy some really adorable knit hats and scarves.

Cathy lives in Falmouth, Maine and has been selling her yarns on Etsy since 2008.

I love the bright and cheeful colors and textures of her yarns, especially the novelty ones with the slubs, lumps and bumps.  Be sure to check these out.

Featured Supply Shop-A Beaded Affair

I am very happy to be featuring a new follower of my brand new blog.  Fellow member of the Etsy Supply Street Team, A Beaded Affair , carries a wonderful selection of  supplies for jewelry making.  You can get top of the line copper wire and findings as well as a variety of top notch beads.  I just love her selection of Jasper beads, especially the  Green Jasper ones because the colors are so rich and earthy. I am partial to beads myself as I use them in my mosaics and I am thrilled to have such high quality choices available to me.

You will find a wide selection of beads including Rose Quartz, Agate, Unikite, Fossilized Coral and much more. It is certainly worth taking a peek.

Need a Banner?

My newest follower is Chelsey Scott, a wonderfully talented graphic artist who resides in my hometown, Melbourne, Florida.  Chelsea owns a shop on Etsy called cscottdraw

I thought I would feature her graphics for banners as many of us could use some help in  this area and Chelsey has some great ideas.  Here is a quote from her shop:

"Graphically I can create anything from invites, banners, logos, photo manipulations, or vector artwork. You name it and I can design it!"

Here is just a sampling of some of her work. Chelsea is more than willing to work with you on any of your graphic needs.

Featured Shop-My Broken Art

Heidi is the owner of My Broken Art, a vintage supply shop on Etsy.com.  She is also a fellow member of the Etsy Supply Street Team.

Heidi's shop carries vintage jewelry, embellished fabric, flowers made from fabric and much more.  She also offers altered art inspiration supply kits.  These kits are great because it takes all the guess work out of it and gives you some lovely supplies that compliment one another to make your own projects.

This is such a fun shop to browse through.  I hope you will stop by.

Etsy Supply Street Team Blog

I recently joined the Etsy Supply Street Team (ESST)  as I opened a mosaic supply  shop several months ago and have decided to dedicate this blog to everyone who is a supplier to Etsy and wants to be featured here.

I will be posting regularly and will introduce new resources for anyone  that wants  high quality affordable supplies.  Everything you could imagine yourself doing from quilting to cooking, sewing to crafting requires some sort of supplies and I plan to feature new shops every post.

I hope you will become a follower as that will be the first place I go to feature new shops. :)
But I would love it if anyone wanting to stay on top of what's the newest resources in supplies would like to follow along too.
